Where convenient, face to face sessions can feel more personal and therefore preferable to some. Sometimes even the journey to and from therapy can be a helpful transition. Currently, I can see therapy clients in person on weekends on City Road (5 mins from Angel tube station).
For those who prefer the convenience and flexibility of online sessions, we can arrange therapy sessions over Zoom. I've conducted many hours of effective counselling and hypnotherapy with clients online. So long as you have a good internet connection and are not camera shy, this can also be a great option.
The counselling services can be short or longer term, depending on what you'd like to get out of therapy.
CBT requires additional session planning, organising and distributing handouts and worksheets (paper-=based or post-session emails etc)
The hypnotherapy service is designed to address one, specific problem area. This can be a great option for those seeking more 'quick-fixes' for issues like self-confidence, lower level anxiety etc. Although adjusted to your needs, hypnotherapy is typically between 4 - 10 sessions.
Having trained in Cognitive-Behavioural Hypnotherapy, therapy would involve the additional CBT overheads.
